“On behalf of the Members of the Baker Hill Golf Club, I am delighted to welcome you to a very special place. Our Rees Jones-designed course has earned many accolades, such as holding Golf Digest’s ranking as the top-rated course in New Hampshire currently and for 12 of the last 14 years and as host to elite tournaments such as the New England Amateur in 2016. But what really sets our Club apart is our membership, our incredible location adjacent to Lake Sunapee, and the fact that our course is seldom very busy given our bylaws that limit the number of members. This is our first reciprocal relationship with an organization like the Harvard Club, and we hope you will take full advantage of the opportunity. Welcome to our home course.” – John Gilbert, President

Stockbridge Golf Club was founded in 1895, one of the oldest clubs in the United States. Relatively flat, but narrow, the course is challenging. The Housatonic River runs through the course and comes into play on 11 of the 18 holes. One can actually hit a tee shot on the 10th and with either a hook or slice, find the same river. Stockbridge Golf Club has hosted the longest running Men’s Invitational tournament in the country, dating back to 1898. Surrounded by the Rockwell Museum, Tanglewood, Chesterwood and the historic Stockbridge downtown, it is worth a trip.
